EU-Heritage Print

Supported by: Erasmus+ programmes of the European Union

Duration: 01.2019 – 12.2021

Website: https://www.facebook.com/EUHeritageProject/

Goal of the project:

The project addresses the lack of transversal, transferable and digital competences in the promotion, valorisation, exploitation, mediation and interpretation of material and immaterial cultural heritage. Together with ten project partners from different countries and different fields, such as the creative industry, tourism or preservation of historical monuments, the foundations are laid for an interdisciplinary exchange.

Based on detailed research, an educational offer for motivated institutions from the cultural heritage sector is to be created in order to strengthen innovative approaches and long-term positioning and development. Particular importance is attached to digital skills: In addition to an online training course for decision-makers and employees, experimental and participatory digital strategies will also be developed and tested. This is not only about classical monument preservation or museums, but also about things that may not immediately come to mind as cultural heritage. These include, for example, immaterial cultural forms of expression such as customs or skills as well as more recent developments such as industrial monuments.
